Night Lights

You have passed this familiar place so many times, but at dusk it becomes something magical. The shoreline slips into shadow, house lights glow among the trees, and the water reflects the last colors of the sky. You love the lake, and you know that feeling—the quiet pull to linger just a little longer before heading home. That feeling is what I hoped to capture in this painting- the light, the stillness, the magic in-between time before the stars come out.
